The bees are still busy.

An update on our bee hive ... tonight a bee keeping friend of my hubby has brought over a brand new hive which we have set up in close proximity to the one in our garden. The theory is that the bees will be attracted to the honey in the hive and because it offers protection from the wind, will transfer to the new hive. If this doesn't happen within the week, the bee keeper will be back with a smoker and protective gear to cut the hive from the tree and transfer it into the new hive. Hopefully the bees will take the easy way out.
For those of you who admired my DH's photo of the bees, here is a close up which he claims he took by closing his eyes and hoping for the best.

Wow! That is really a close up! I don't think I could have gotten that shot! I hope they do transfer to the new hive? It would be much easier.

Now, to claim your award, go to my blog, http://candlesandcrafts.blogspot.com and right click on the photo of the Blog Love award, and save to your computer. Then post about your award on your blog, for all your friends to see, with a link back to the blog that awarded it to you! You can also give this award to other blogs by listing them, and then notifying them, like I did with you, and spread the blog love around! :)

This award didn't come with specific instructions, like how many blogs you have to nominate, or anything, so I just listed some of favorites that I go to all the time. You can choose not to nominate any, and just post the award on your blog if you would like!
Hope this helps!
Take care,
Kat

your yard must be happy and peaceful because the bees are depleted in lots of places; but they found solace and comfort in your bush.

give thanks for small miracles and signs of renewal
