This is the jumper I made before the Owl hat. I love this old pattern. It is a Patons one from book No. 946 Children's Hand Knits. Couldn't resist buying the book from a secondhand store whilst I was on holiday. It has four different patterns for children, using either 5 ply, 8ply or 12 ply. While the designs on the jumpers are a bit out dated, the styles are basic. Good value for $1.00.
Oh, and now I have to make the hat again, because it doesn't fit grandson's head properly. Lucky I have an almost full ball of wool over.
